Kristine Weidner has been a psychotherapist for more than 24 years helping clients heal and move forward from a variety of life’s challenges such as navigating transitions in young adulthood and college; finding new meaning in work; coping with a health crisis or aging; managing anxiety or depression; as well as improving relationships and finding more balance in life.

Her warm and compassionate approach creates a safe space where you will be able to tap into your own inherent wisdom and courage. From within that space, she’ll assist you to find compassion for yourself, tune into your strengths and find solutions to your questions and concerns. Her willingness to stay curious, explore, and learn brings this energy and hope to those she works with.

Kristine Weidner believes that effective therapy is a collaborative process that combines the skills of a trained therapist with the individual strengths and needs of each person. Creating balance is an integral part of healing, and together you will find new approaches which will support you in ways that feel helpful.

She has advanced training and experience in insight oriented therapy, CBT, DBT, therapy for insomnia and other sleep disturbances, and mindfulness. She has a BS in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego, and an MSW from the University at Albany. Kristine provides individual and group therapy for adults, age 18 and older. Her specialties include mindfulness-based approaches.
