Cheri Neadle is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been providing therapeutic services to individuals and families in the New Haven and Fairfield County areas since 2006.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Florida, and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University.

Cheri is passionate about the field of family therapy and deeply dedicated to providing the highest quality treatment to every client she works with.  Her experience is well-rounded, and includes work with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of treatment settings, including residential facilities, extended day treatment, crisis stabilization, and outpatient substance abuse.  She has held senior supervisory positions in outpatient and residential treatment programs, and is currently the Program Director at Center for Discovery’s residential eating disorder treatment program in Southport, CT.  Cheri is also an approved supervisor by the highest standards of the American Association For Marriage and Family Therapy.

While Cheri Neadle remains passionate about the field of family therapy, she has also developed an ever-growing enthusiasm for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and has completed Intensive Training in the model through DBT-founder Marsha Linehan’s organization, Behavioral Tech, LLC.  After helping to pioneer an adolescent DBT program at a child guidance clinic in 2013, Cheri committed herself to increasing her practice within the model due to its efficacy and compelling outcomes.  She was happy to join the CCBH team in June of 2014, where she continues to lead DBT groups and provide individual DBT therapy.
